what does Booking with Shelby Renee Studios look like?
STEP 01
Inquire & Connect
Once you decide on the perfect session type and fill out the contact form your journey with Shelby Renee Studios starts! Once I receive your inquiry, I'll reach out to decide your date, locations, and any details we need to create your perfect session experience.
STEP 02
Secure Your Date
Once details are agreed upon I'll send over a contract, and a non-refundable retainer (25% of total session cost). You will be given 72 hours to complete the contract and invoice and once both have been digitally turned in your session is officially on my calendar.
STEP 03
Prepare & Celebrate
Before your session, I'll guide you through outfit ideas, styling tips, and any details to make your photos feel like you. We'll finalize the timeline so your session flows naturally and captures the moments that matters most.
STEP 04
Session & Delivery
On session day we will capture your love story in a fun and authentic session. Afterwards, you'll receive your curated gallery (usually within two weeks) where you can download images, share them, and order prints if you'd like. Your memories will be forever yours to live over and over again.
FAQ
Do you require a booking fee?
Yes! A 25% non-refundable retainer is required to secure your session date. This ensures your spot is officially reserved, the reminder of your balance is due before your session.
Are the travel expenses included in your packages?
Travel expenses are not included in session packages unless you are within a 30 miles radius of Columbia, Missouri. I'm happy to provide a quote if your session is outside of a 30-mile radius from Columbia, Missouri. Travel fees are calculated based on distance and any additional costs.
do you pose Clients?
Absolutely! I guide and pose you throughout the session, but I focus on natural movement and real moments, so nothing feels stiff or forced. You'll get a mix of candid, emotional moments, and gentle posing. I'm also happy to work with inspiration images or ideas you'd like to try.
Can I purchase or receive the raw photos?
I do not provide raw photos. All delivered images are professionally edited to reflect my signature style and vision. This ensures the quality and consistence of your final gallery.
